The 3rd Conference of the European Association on Quality Control of Bridges and Structures – EUROSTRUCT2025 – will take place from 2-5 September 2025 at the University College Dublin, Ireland, devoted to the research and development of sustainable, modern and environmentally-friendly solutions for built infrastructure, as well as equipping its graduates with the skills to implement and further sustainable approaches to problem-solving.
The objectives of EUROSTRUCT 2025 are to address all aspects of best practice guidance and quality control plans for built infrastructure, including both traditional and modern structures. This includes but is not limited to bridges, tunnels, pipelines as well as wind turbines or other renewable energy devices in terms of their lifetime safety, performance and management, integrating the most recent knowledge on performance assessment procedures with the adoption of specific goals. We will consider individual components, structures or a collection of them as a combined stock or as a network in this regard.
Specifically:
- Repair and rehabilitation issues
- Management systems and operations
- Needs of stakeholders (e.g. owners, managers, users, neighbours, policymakers, government)
- Strategies as to how to incorporate sustainability & climate issues into the design, construction, operation, and quality control plans in structural safety and management
- Implications and applications of sensors, IoT, Big Data and AI in the management and related quality control
EUROSTRUCT 2025 aims to act as a forum for practitioners, owners, operators and academics/researchers to engage deeply and create best practice guidance with a modern outlook, as well as create future directions of investigation, interpretation or implementation.
